Die Pianistin Violina Petrychenko setzt sich sehr authentisch dafür einsetzt, die ukrainische Musik und Kultur bekannter zu machen. ‚Wintergeflüster / Ukrainische Klaviergeschichten‘ ist eine musikalische Reise in ihre Heimat, wo die Erinnerungen an die alten Traditionen des Weihnachtsliedes bewahrt werden. Die meisten Stücke sind zum ersten Mal aufgenommen, was die Veröffentlichung ziemlich einzigartig macht.
